Divorce Recovery
Divorce is a difficult subject - for the individuals
involved, for their friends and family, for counselors,
for the church, for everyone.  No one can really
understand how difficult until they experience it
personally.  I developed for divorce recovery and single
parent ministry out of necessity.  
One weekend years ago, I found myself literally on the
floor before God asking him to show me what to do
about my failing marriage.  My mother, Godly woman
that she is, spoke Truth to me causing me to remember
all that I had learned of God's grace and forgiveness.  
Once we are forgiven, we are just that - FORGIVEN.  
God remembers our sin no more - we have a CLEAN
SLATE.  The realization of the truth came to me with
new meaning as I was reminded of who God is and how
he loves and accepts us based on who we are and not
what we do.  
Since then I have recognized the need to communicate
that same grace my mother showed me to the rest of
the people who were hurting from divorce.  Because the
whole subject is so broad and complex, I felt the need to
minister and support people going through this
tumultuous life circumstance.  
This class evolved over the last eight years out of the
ReBuilders Seminars I have presented at Second Baptist
Church in Houston, Texas.  For twenty-six weeks a year,
I have had the distinguished privilege of meeting with
and literally "walking around inside the souls" of
hundreds of people dealing with the pain of divorce.  
My experiences with the changes in the lives of the
people in the program led me to create this class and
share these principles with you.
There are many ways to grieve and many ways ti heal.  
This program will help you through those difficult
processes by offering genuine scriptural hope, assurance
of forgiveness, and reinstatement into Christian
fellowship.

with me.  My hope for you is that you will truly be
blessed as you seek to know God more, to know yourself
better, and to fully live according to God's divine plan
for your life.
