Professional and Life
Coaching

Coaching is not the same as counseling or therapy.  A
professional/life coach most often works with clients
who are doing just fine on their own, but want more out
of life.  Coaching is also different from consulting in
that the coach will not only help you set better goals,
but will work as your partner to make sure you reach
them.  Coaches are able to help their clients focus more
intently and remain focused in order to produce better
results, achieve those results faster and help the client
do even more than they might have done on their own.

No matter where you are in life there is always a desire
for more; more success, more money, closer
relationships, a deeper feeling of meaning in life, etc.
We all struggle with how to get what we're looking for.
Many people believe that hard work and sacrifice are
the only ways to achieve what they want.  They think
that a price must be paid to attain what they want.
Say that price is often poor health, not having enough
time to enjoy life, strained family relationships, or a
lack of productivity.  The professional coach helps you
avoid that trap by discovering  your real needs and
helping you work effectively toward your ultimate
goals.

Many people are tired of doing what they think they
"should" do and are ready to do something special and
meaningful for the rest of their lives.  One problem is
that many can't see what this is, or if they can, they
can't find a way to reorganize their life around it.  A
coach can help them do both.  People are realizing how
simple it can be to accomplish something that several
years ago might have been out of reach.  A coach is not
a miracle worker, but a coach does have the skill to
help your dreams become reality.  Fortunately, people
now have the time and resources to invest in
themselves in this kind of personal and professional
growth.  The impact of the coaching experience
resonates so profoundly that the intercity overflows
from your own personal life into your relationships and
the lives of those around you.

Who does coaching work?  It's simple.  The energy
between coach and client creates momentum.  Goals are
set that naturally pull the client along rather that the
client having to constantly push themselves toward the
goal.  The client develops new skills, and these skills
translate into more success both professionally and
personally.
