Julie Summers Frisbie carries with her a wide variety of training in psychology, substantial clinical experience, and training as a professional/personal life coach. Additionally, she is certified in Sport Psychology. Having obtained her Master’s Degree in Psychology in 1987, she has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 20 years. Julie began her private practice working with high-risk teens & families. Having specialized training in the areas of Family Mediation & Crisis Intervention, she often works with children suffering from depression, anxiety and Attention Deficit Disorder, and adults who have long-term interpersonal difficulties, particularly those resulting from emotional, physical & sexual abuse. She is particularly interested in working with clients that desire integrating spiritual & emotional growth. As a personal and professional coach, Mrs. Summers Frisbie works in partnership with individuals who want to live an extraordinary life. He works closely with couples seeking marriage counseling as well as with functional and dysfunctional family units. He also sees clients on an individual basis. Shannon Burkett Ph.D. Dr. Shannon Burkett is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Texas. She earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology: Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from North Texas State and a Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Trained in the Biopsychosocial Model, she acknowledges the importance of the interplay of biology, psychology, spirituality, and social environments that exists in each unique individual’s life. Dr. Burkett works with individuals with a variety of needs, such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, issues related to adjustment (marriage/divorce, job stress) and women’s issues. Julie Ottosen M.A., LPC has a background in education as well as psychology and works primarily with children, adolescents and their parents. Kim works with individuals ranging from childhood through adulthood on a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, major life adjustments, and relationship issues. She is especially interested in working with adolescents on issues surrounding school, friends, relationships, self- esteem, and divorce. In 2007, Kim voluntarily implemented a classroom curriculum for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls at Cornerstone Middle School to address self-esteem, relationships, academic stressors, and social skills. Click here to email Kim Patrick Lucas LAT, ATC, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, EMT A San Antonio native, Patrick is licensed by the Texas board of health as an Athletic Therapist/Trainer. In addition he is nationally credentialed by the National Athletic Trainers Association and holds the titles of Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist as well as Personal Trainer from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Patrick received his education from the University of Texas at Arlington and began his career as a clinical athletic trainer for Arlington Sports Medicine and the Texas Rangers Baseball organization. Moving to the Houston area in the early 90’s, he continued his clinical practice working for CHRISTUS St. John Sports Medicine in Nassau Bay where he was the director for Houston region Sports Medicine programs. Patrick has over 15 years of experience in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He currently is working on education and licensure on the field of sports psychology. In addition he is in the process of developing Beyond the Sport, a new therapeutic exercise facility for those needing more hands on assistance with wellness activities due to illness, injury, disability, or just seeking a more personalized exercise environment.
