Andy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas and is under the supervision of Kim Nemec, MA, LPC-S, of Abounding Hope Counseling of Abilene, Texas. Andy earned his Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Houston Christian (formerly Houston Baptist) University in 1987. He believes that every person is uniquely and wonderfully created. He likes to use well-established clinical therapeutic techniques such as REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy) to help reveal explanations of the issues at hand. If desired, he can incorporate Biblically-based counseling using Christ-centered applications. His counseling experience includes working with adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, dementia caregiving, grief, marital issues, and pornography/sexual addiction.
