Emily Walker, Graduate Student Intern

Emily has experience counseling individuals who are working through a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Her approach is rooted in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Emily focuses on establishing a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and trust. Her characteristic warmth allows her clients to move towards healing and personal growth. Emily is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate life’s many challenges. Emily firmly believes that everyone has an innate capacity to face situations with resilience.  She is committed to meeting her clients where they are as they work to achieve their personal goals.

Emily is a graduate student intern completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of St. Thomas, accredited through the Counsel for the accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Emily received her Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University. She is under the supervision of Allie Sauls, MA, LPC-S.
