Katie Knapp, M.A., M. Ed., LPC
Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with both children and adults. Prior to working in private practice, Katie worked in the health care setting where she provided therapy and psychoeducation for hospital employees and first responders. She has extensive experience treating trauma, grief and loss. She enjoys working with postpartum women and parents as they navigate the challenges and adjustments of parenthood. Katie has over 10 years of experience working with clients in managing stress, burnout, anxiety and depression.
Katie has both a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Education from Houston Baptist University, now known as Houston Christian University. She received her BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She pulls from her background in education as an elementary school teacher when working with students and families.
Katie performs ADHD and psychoeducational assessments.
