What is an LPC-A?

Gina’s LPC-A status means she has met all the necessary requirements to become a licensed professional counselor in Texas. This includes having a master’s in counseling and passing the national board exam. The main difference between an LPC-A and an LPC is that Associates are still under direct supervision until they complete 3,000 clinical hours.
